Start a new template project by selecting the 'Create a new Splendid City project' toolbar button in the Project Viewer View.
Give the project a name, set the path; the schedule template should have one entry listed. In the entry, name the first division and enter 10 Teams; 10 Locations. Click the 'Save and Close' button. You should now have one schedule with 10 teams listed with 10 locations visible in your Project Viewer tree. For clarity sake, lets rename two locations (Temp_Location_1 and Temp_Location_2) in the schedule to Miller Field #3 and Miller Field #19. Double click them in the Project Viewer to access the Location create/edit dialog (see above). Let us also rename Temp_Team_1 to Silver Lake Dynamos and Temp_Team_2 to Soccer ABC.
Now we'll set the team and home field bindings in the Team Create/Edit dialogs. We set the Dynamos home field as Miller Field #3 and Soccer ABC's home field as Miller Field #19. We can set all the other teams' home fields to the corresponding Temp_Location indices, for example Temp_Team_3 will have as home, Temp_Location_3, Temp_Team_4 with Temp_Location_4, so on and so forth.
