Editable tournament views added to SC version 6.4
SC v 6.4 adds tournament bracket views.
Splendid City Sports Scheduler version 6.4 adds new
support for editable tournament bracket views.
SC users who create schedules with the
single elimination or double elimination tournament type [ can be selected from
the Object Wizard 'Start' panel ] now have the option to view tournament
schedule data in bracketed view formats. Users also have the option to edit the
game information directly in the bracket view by clicking on each individual
game index number which will correspond like a web link and present users the
game event's Splendid City Game Properties panel, allowing easy access to game
data, like home & away teams, location, official crew, game time or date,
score results etc. The bracket view is available once the schedule is built and
then selecting from the Schedule View menu --> Tools --> 'View | Update
Tournament Bracket View' choice.
Using
this new interface users will have an easier way to seed tournaments as well.
Users may seed tournaments by invoking the Game Properties panel as described
above, or by choosing the Splendid City Swap Utility --> Swap Game Object
panel to make modifications to tournament game data.
Also users can also have the software
'automatically seed' the tournament games by selecting the Splendid City
Options/Preferences --> Scheduling --> More --> Miscellaneous Options
--> 'Auto seed tournaments, based on results' option. Once users enter score
data, the software will automatically seed the subsequent single or double
elimination game events based on the results entered.
